Trocaire join nine other INGOs (CAFOD, Caritas Denmark, Caritas Norway, Christian Aid, Danish Church Aid, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, Help – Hilfe zure Selbsthilfe, Islamic Relief Worldwide and Johanniter International Assistance/Johanniter-Auslandshile) in signing the Charter for Change, committing themselves to deliver change within their own organisational ways of working so that southern-based national actors can play an increased and more prominent role in humanitarian response.

The above international agencies have all committed to change the way they work in order to better enable locally-led humanitarian response

 

The Charter for Change has also been endorsed by over 50 Southern-based NGOs, calling for more INGOs to work towards signing up

The 10 INGOs listed have committed their organisations to implement the following 8-point Charter for Change by May 2018.
